Individual Therapy

Dr. Lynette Long provides individual therapy to adolescents and adults. Individual therapy begins with an intake session in which the patient’s personal and family history are explored. Dr. Long also asks each patient their personal therapy goals. “What would have to happen for you to deem this therapy successful?”

During individual therapy, Dr. Long listens, adds insight, and gives feedback based on her twenty years experience and extensive training. She helps patients identify patterns, become aware of how their past influences their present, and identify emotional triggers. Dr. Long teaches patients how to use cognitive reframing to control their emotions and make better decisions.
